Stuck?! Sketches! DT - 15 Jan 2018 - Stay a little bit wild.

Welcome to my blog where today I’m sharing a DT layout for

I followed the sketch closely, just substituting flowers for the stars
and omitting the small border.

This paper range by Cocoa Vanilla, Bohemian Dreams,
seemed just right to enhance the sweet photos of my DGD.
The page came together quite quickly, apart from the hand stitching, but that’s easy enough to do in front of the TV.  I love the variegated thread from DMC.
Journalling is on the back of the page and it reads:-
I crocheted the purple ombre vest for your Birthday and some weeks later arranged to visit your home to take some photos of you wearing it.
You were happy to oblige until a little incident after lunch, when you and your Daddy had a misunderstanding, resulting in you flouncing off to your room and slamming the door as you departed in high dudgeon.  Left to your own devices, you emerged some time later wearing your pyjamas;
 you'd donned your comfort clothes.
Uh oh! I thought that was the end of any photography for the day.  However, with a change of topic and a recalibrating of your mood, we were able to capture a few lovely shots.  I'm impressed by the way you quickly recover from a disagreement and I admire they way you are a natural in front of the camera.  You create a mood, assume a pose and allow me to click away for ten minutes or more.
I'm so lucky to have you in my life.
