Hello Scrappy friends, welcome to my blog and Happy New Year.
Today I'm sharing a page for STUCK?! SKETCHES!
Why not click on the link and see what the rest of the team have designed to inspire you?
I recently got my hands on some of the delightful 49 and Market papers.
This range is "Heirloom Botanicals" and worked well with the colours in the photo.
The flowers were fussy cut from a matching sheet of Heirloom Botanicals.
I hand stitched the semi-circle at the top and did some random stamping.
The fabric star came from Charm's creations, who is one of our generous sponsors this month.
I'm trying to write on some of the layouts....hmmm...not convinced it's a good idea
it wouldn't get a tick from Sr. Romanus!!
We are so lucky to have our Grand daughter's company every week,
she is such fun to have around.
I hope you will enter the challenge and have a chance to win one of the super prizes.
Charms are sponsoring a $50.00 gift certificate.
Accent Scrapbooking are sponsoring a $25.00 gift certificate.
Thanks for calling in. I love it when you leave a comment, I so enjoy reading them.

ReplyDeleteWell....blow Sister, it gets a BIG tick from me. Handwriting is sooo important....& also, eventually, our writing gets all wonky and not nice....so enjoy DOING it right now I say! OK. Off my hobby horse. You STITCHED!!! Honestly, the world is going mad. Everyone is stitching. I absolutely refuse to be inveigled into it.....looks great though, I must say! And those papers are gorgeous with your gorgeous girl, too :) so soft and sweet....lovely page!!
ReplyDeleteI love her new haircut she looks so grown up and very pensive in the pics. Another stunning layout. You are going to miss her I can see. I love the stitching on this page :D
ReplyDeleteHelen this is just beautiful, a fave . The fussy cut flowers look amazing , as does the stitching, so neat ! The colours are so pretty & nothing at all wrong with your handwriting, it looks good on your layout . I never like my handwriting. The wish word & arrow look fab . I hope you have not been suffering too much with the heat . I am trying to catch up with the scrapping world , but my Scrapbooking room is small & hot
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous and beautiful page! Love these papers....would love to get my hands on some too...but we only seem to be getting the stamps, not the papers! ;-) Loving the styling and gorgeous details and of course...the super photo! ;-) btw...I think your handwriting and journaling on the page is fabulous! ;-)
ReplyDeleteHi Helen, Somehow I missed this post & oh my goodness--my jaw hit the floor! Absolutely stunning layout for those darling pictures! I adore your stitching & the fussy cut flowers--so creative! Didn't realize you were in the Southern Hemisphere--big difference from this neck of the woods! We're shivering with the cold, but the snow is gone at our house.
ReplyDeletePerfection! Love the harmony with her blouse/dress and the patterns and colors in the papers. Wonderful!!! Big hugs, Autumn
