Happy go Lucky - Stuck?! sketches October 15 2016

Hello Scrappy friends - today I’m sharing a sketch challenge for Stuck!? sketches,
a fun sketch if you have a series of photos to scrap.

I’ve been hoarding this paper and it seemed just right for a boy on his field of dreams. It’s by Webster’s pages, Strawberry fields, “Fields of gold”. I love the bokeh effect in the background.

I rotated the sketch 45 degrees to the right, to better suit the portrait shaped photos.

The super Star flair is from my stash - sorry, I don't know it's origin.

Scrapmatts products used:-
CB1048 Soccer Balls 03
CB 1196 Silhouettes 04
CB1237 Scrap words 23

The journalling is on the back of the page and it reads:-

We came to watch you play Grasshopper soccer one chilly morning in September. We were all gathering for Daddy’s Birthday brunch after your match. It was fun watching you do the exercises; trying to “catch” other players with the soccer ball; evaluating the play from the back before putting on a turn of speed and racing away to the front. You love to be goalie and we saw you stop a couple of certain goals from the opposition. You try, try and keep trying, so your skills have improved enormously as a result.

Love Granny. 18 Sept 2016

We have two generous sponsors for this challenge.
Are offering two large pieces of chipboard.

Are donating a $20.00 gift voucher.

Thanks for calling in to say hello.
I truly appreciate any comments you may care to leave.

  3. My gosh! That bokeh paper works perfectly. Funny how if we hold onto something long enough.... the LO that 'calls' for it to be used just happens! LOOOOOVE that little soccer ball & silhouette figure, VERY clever!!! And what a star in the making. Nothing like sport to keep boys busy and outta mischief!!!

  10. Oh wow I don't know whether I am more impressed by your beautiful layout or your knowledge of the game. I know I am going to have to start watching again so I guess I better brush up or I will be in trouble. This sketch is perfect for your layout and I love the way the circles take you around the photos just like dribbling the ball. Lovely Helen.
