92 - CSI Challenge "Tutu"

CSI challenge this week has soft pinks and blues to challenge you.  Why not hop over and be inspired by the Design Team and lots of talented Guest Designers.  It's easy to play; simply use each of the five colours, choose at least two of the Evidence items and at least one of the Testimony prompts.  CSI loves to promote journalling, so come on over and spin us a yarn.
Here is the link
My page was inspired by the photos and the chippie by Imaginarium....I haven't done a double for ages, but just could not decide on one or two photos from this day...so I had to be a pictorial approach
I had fun playing with mists,  stencils, pastes, inks and dies....such fun, except when it comes to putting everything away again.
Because I'm blogging impaired I don't know how to get these layouts to sit side by side so this is the Left side and the one underneath is the Right side.

A few closies of our gorgeous wee ballerina &  yummy new die
Chippie from Imaginarium
Another yummy new die

EVIDENCE
Rhinestones
Pearls
Hearts (on her top)
Velvet ribbon
Something that dangles

TESTIMONY
I used the inspiration word “Sparkle” to kick start my journalling.
It reads:-

When you were 16 months old, we bought you this pink Tutu for Christmas.  You fell in love with it and never wanted to take it off. You’ve worn it when camping, to the shops & outside in the garden; it’s an all occasion outfit. On this day, you danced spontaneously for us, having gathered up your bag and your ribbon as props. I loved the poise and lack of inhibition, you had, as you gracefully dipped and twirled.  I hope you will always feel so liberated. Never let anyone dull your sparkle.  6 July 2013          Love Granny

  1. Such a sweet layout Helen and as always beautiful journalling. We must have been channelling each other as I have also done a ballerina layout and used the quote Don't let anyone dull your sparkle, also textured pasted circles and coloured the same, Great minds think alike ;). I will post mine tomorrow, to funny. I have a couple of cyber friends I seem to be linked to through the cosmo. I love your little banner and new die

  3. This is just a beautiful double pager Helen. Amazing background page with all the 'bubbles' and the stunning photos of your little princess swirling around the page with absolute abandon. So many lovely details and I think they are the luckiest grandies alive to have you as their grandparents. <3

  8. This is soooo pretty!! Love all your little bits of die-cutting here & there! I think if you wanted to lay your images side by side you'd have to first put them together as a collage in Picasa then upload them that way. (as one photo) or perhaps reduce the size to small or medium in order for them to fit. Anyway, I prefer to see each page so beautifully big & clear!!
