Stuck?! Sketches! DT 1st August - Boy oh Boy

Welome back to my blog today where I'm sharing a DT page for
One of my favourite paper collections is Cocoa Vanilla - "You Rock"
Just the thing for these two Scallywags!
The hessian heart is from Charms Creations.
The journalling is on the back of the page and it reads:-

These pictures were taken at your big cousin's 18th Birthday Party.
We had lunch outside in the sunshine and you both relished the party food.
Although you have quite different personalities,
you both enjoy playing football and patting the pets.
We stayed late into the evening and enjoyed listening to your cousin and Uncle playing their guitars, while all the rest of us sang along.
A little snippet of everyday life recorded when you were 6 years old.

  1. Oh Helen what a lovely page and you are killing the mixed media background thing. I can't believe your boys are six already seems like just yesterday they were little things. I also can't believe how different they are looking now. It is such a joy to have twins and watch them grow and develope together and so independently. Lovely every day moments recorded for sure.

Scallywags indeed - they look like perfect angels!! :o) I love that sketch, the messily colourful background and your perfectly chosen and placed embellies. You make it look so easy Helen, you're an inspiration. I would love to watch you work on a page - have you ever made any process videos?

    1. Thanks for your kind words Annie. I just love this paper collection; so easy to work with. No, I've not made process videos - have thought about it, but not quite sure where to start. Maybe I should be brave like you and try something new!
