The inspiration photo this week really made me smile; what a cool cat! However I was struggling to find the right photo until our Grandson came to visit wearing his new top. Ta Da!!! I was off and running. My page was inspired by a layout I saw when net surfing. Unfortunately I didn’t book mark it and created it from what I remember. I’d like to credit the artist for the inspiration and apologise that I am unable to do so.

TESTIMONY
I went to Mama Kat’s pretty much world famous writing prompts and chose to write about what I’m grateful for and what I miss. The journalling reads.
It was my lucky day when you came to visit wearing your new top. The colours were perfect for this page I was creating. All we needed was a photo prop and we found these cute glasses for you to wear. They kept sliding down off your nose and we thought we might have to tie them on with string. Now that you are a big school boy, we miss having you come to spend the day with us.

ReplyDeleteI loved this layout in the forum and then in the gallery and now again here. Not only because I had such a giggle at you staging a shoot for this case but also because your journalling just reinforces how grateful you are for the little things and I love that. I also think I love this because even though I love the busy, mixed media, multi layered layouts at heart I am a clean line scrapper. I love white backgrounds, crisp papers and clean layouts. This has it all for me and the photos are just so endearing. <3
ReplyDeletethis page sure rocks on... love the cute photos with the glasses and the cute cat as the embellishment, awesome :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous !!! Love the splats, masking, circles & stars ....love the whole lot. Total magic:):)
ReplyDeleteI am smiling from ear to ear .. this is so fabulous, sensational piece of precious art xoxo
ReplyDeleteNow look at those cute photos and your fun and amuzing page! Great use of the white space. I love the fabric, as it soften the design. The cat as an embellishments simply rocks. :)
ReplyDeleteI also love your story. you're a master documenting all those moments.
LOL...I also just have to giggle every time I see your page...because I know the efforts it takes to get a little wriggly worm to stay still for a photo, especially when the props are not co-operating! As I said at CSI, I love this fresh and funky styling...just perfect for those photies! ;-)
