Such glorious colours to play with this week and the evidence list offered lots of things that appealed to me. I chose to scrap a photo of my DGD and her Uncle.
I used the pale pink as the background, drew the heart free hand to fit the photo, then cut the shape out of the black card stock. I cut away some of the black to reveal the pink underneath and then stitched it on with two different pink threads.
I used a mixture of paints and mists to try to get the colour to match the dark pink in the challenge, I'm not sure I quite made it!
Prima, Magnolia and Kaiser flowers
I embossed, inked and decorated the heart

THE JOURNALLING READS
You looked so sweet in your smocked dress & your ballet slippers on this special day & I really love the expression on your baby face. It captures your extroverted personality so perfectly. It’s your “Wow, it’s a party” face. With Uncle Ben, you joined friends and family (aka your fans) in the festively decorated garden. They had all gathered to celebrate your parent’s engagement. What they didn’t know before hand was that Mummy and Daddy were getting married. Now that was a surprise.
