82 - CSI challenge Girls Day Out

Here is the bright and beautiful challenge at CSI this week.  You have until 4th August to have a play, if you like the colours and the prompts.

I used some very old Kaisercraft as the base and spruced it up with some Echo Park and My Mind's Eye
Had a play with some watercolour paints and paper to make the little ombre hearts.
I'm not usually stuck for words, but I did have trouble with the journalling prompts this week.

A couple of closies
Love that Prima stamp
EVIDENCE
Stamps - the pink flowers
Hearts
Doodling
Funky scallops
Wet Medium - watercolour painted hearts
String - around the hearts
Cursive lettering

TESTIMONY
I chose to write eight things I love about you, the subject
Hand write the journalling in cursive

The journalling reads
Eight things I love about you :-
Your smile
Your energy
Your empathy
Your courage
Your confidence
Your resilence
Your impeccable manners
Whoops! How could I forget your cheekiness

  10. Such a sweet page Helen and so love the papers you used, plus your styling! Super journalling around the page and beatiful hearts! Sometimes I also struggle with the journalling and getting my theme to fit in with the testimony, but love that I am pushed to really think about it and make it meaningful! ;-)
