91 CSI Challenge - In this House Memories are created

As soon as I saw the testimony for this week, I knew what I wanted to write about.  Then it was just a matter of photographing my favourite things and it all came together with the help of this fabulous sketch from Scrap Friends.

 I discovered stamps don't work so well on water colour paper

so I outlined them with a Tombow pen

Scrap Around the World September Challenge

This is the September challenge at Scrap around the world.

I loved the drama and flair of the mood board and decided to scrap an older photo.

I was inspired by the lacy look of the face paininting on the model.

 The sketch I used by rotating once to the right

There were a lot of stylized flowers around in the 70's as well as  rich magentas and apricot colours, so I played with stamps and gelatos to try and achieve the look of the time.

Just a quick post to show a card I made for the team at Meg's Garden

The beautiful paper, is from Dreaming in the Meadows Collection "Dreaming in duck egg blue"
